Class members are expected to have a full complement of materials when they arrive at their first class.

Upon registration, Michele will mail or email a listing of these materials to each participant, including palette size suggestions, specific brush sizes and types, specific colors of paint (with suggested brands), field easel recommendations, and miscelleneous other tools.

Having consistent paint colors on all participants palettes allows folks to follow specific color mixing exercises, and to share with each other the results of these efforts.

Michele's materials listing also includes suggestions of Santa Cruz County stores and mail/web order locations where the several items may be obtained. If you need to purchase all your supplies, including a portable field easel, it may run you a couple hundred dollars. Registering early will provide time to locate more affordable art supplies.

Michele's goal is to have all class participants enjoying painting in the great outdoors early in the first class.
