Michele's 2008 exhibition calendar
January 19 through March 22, 2008	Slough Trail, a 24" x 20" original oil painting by Michele Hausman, was juried into the Triton Museum of Art's Statewide Painting Competition & Exhibition. March 10 through May 8	The Return to the Farmers Market Exhibit celebrated the coming of spring and the reappearance of the Farmer's Markets. Artists participating in this exhibit were Skip Andreae, Bonnie Carver, Lorraine Catania, Marnie Dufau, Suzanne Elliott, Giny Falcone, Michele Hausman, Carol Jeneid, Anna Oneglia, Jean Thomas, and Melinda Vahradian. April 1 - May 4, 2008	Filoli Invitational "Native California Art Exhibition." Stroll through the fabulous gardens of the Filoli Center grounds, and view fine art representative of Native California. May 17 & 18, 2008	Los Altos Rotary Club's Fine Art in the Park. This was Michele's first appearance at this show, which is a premier showcase for original fine art in Northern California.	Lincoln Park Los Altos, California
June 18 - 22, 2008	Michele joined the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters' Association at the Big Sur Arts Initiative's plein air event . She created a set of paintings over 3 days at various Big Sur area locations, for exhibition Saturday and Sunday at a "Wet Paint" exhibition at the Village Shops in Big Sur. August 30, 31 and September 1	Michele has been invited to return to King's Mountain Art Fair, the premier Northern California outdoor Art Fair, in beautiful Woodside, California, just south of San Francisco. All 3 days of Labor Day Weekend, 10 AM - 5 PM. Breakfast served at 8 AM. Stroll through the redwoods viewing the fine art paintings, sculpture, watercolors, photography, and many fine crafts with the opportunity to meet and make purchases direct from the over 100 artists and craftspeople. OPEN STUDIO 2008 Two Weekends: October 4th & 5th October 18th & 19th Grand Coast, 36 x 48	This is the one time each year that Michele opens her studio to the public. This is a chance to meet Michele in person, talk with her about art, and see both recently completed paintings and paintings in progress. Michele will also provide displays describing her process, such as photos of paintings in various stages of development and an open palette where you can see how she selects and mixes colors. This is a wonderful opportunity to find the perfect original painting for your home while learning about the painting from the artist herself!
