Annual Mother's Day
Weekend Art Show
Saturday and Sunday,
May 12 & 13, 2001
Five Soquel artists, including
Michele Hausman, hosted this annual event in their gardens and
studios at the end of Cherryvale Avenue in Soquel. Ten percent
of all sales were donated to WomenCARE, a local organization
offering free support services to women with cancer.

and Sunday, on the Pacific Garden Mall in downtown Santa Cruz.
Michele will be at booth 66 on Pacific Avenue at Walnut Avenue.

The
Great River Exhibition - "Life along the Connecticut River"
June 23 through
August 4, 2001
The Pioneer Valley Institure
in Greenfield, Massachusetts is again hosting this juried exhibition
of works in several media depicting life in the Connecticut River
Valley. Michele's work - "Cloud Shadows" - will be
included.
Reception: Saturday, June 23, 1 - 4 P.M. at Artspace Community
Arts Center at 7 Franklin Street, Greenfield, Massachusetts.
Oil Painters Alliance - Annual
juried membership exhibition
June 30 through
July 14, 2001
The new Oil Painter's Alliance
will host their first gallery exhibition at the Dancing Man Gallery,
at 123 Maple Street in downtown Santa Cruz, California. Reception
is planned for July 5, from 5 to 7 PM. Gallery hours: Thursday
- Sunday 1 - 5PM, and evenings on Friday and Saturday from 7

Valley Art and Wine Festival

Michele Hausman will join
other artists
exhibiting their original artworks in this juried art and wine
festival. The annual event is held in the Santa Cruz Mountain
foothill community of Scotts Valley, and is presented by the
Scotts
Valley Chamber of Commerce. Scotts Valley is located along highway 17 in
Santa Cruz County, on the way between the Silicon Valley / San
Jose area and the city and beaches of Santa Cruz.

The Capitola
Art & Wine Festival has become one of the most popular
events of its type in Northern California, held annually in the
picturesque town of Capitola
by the Sea. Michele Hausman
exhibits many of her recent artworks at this festive event. Michele
joins other artists, artisans and vintners presenting the fruits
of their labors in this 19th annual exposition.

Studios Tour 2001
Two weekends: October 6-7 and 20-21, 2001

Michele Hausman will host her
Autumn Studio Show as a participant in Open Studios 2001 - the
county-wide art tour presented by the Cultural
Council of Santa Cruz County.
Visitors may stroll through
the garden up to her art studio in Soquel, California, for an
opportunity to meet the artist, view her recent works, and see
paintings in progress.

Fall Fest

by Pacific Fine Art Festivals. The annual event is held in the
Oakland foothill community of Montclair. This event is sponsored
by the Montclair Business Association.
